Universal Wheel Hub Conversion Kit – 1/24 Scale

Adapt aftermarket or donor wheels to a wider range of 1/24 scale model kits with this universal wheel hub conversion set from Scale Model Jam. The kit allows builders to convert male-mount wheels to female mounting or female-mount wheels to male mounting, making it easier to use wheels that would not normally fit the selected suspension or axle setup.

Compatibility

Designed as a universal 1/24 scale wheel-conversion solution for model-car wheels and donor kits. Final compatibility depends on the wheel centre, axle or spindle design, suspension width, brake clearance, wheel offset, and available mounting depth.

Installation Instructions

1. Remove the existing mounting hub from the inside of the donor wheel.
2. Clean and level the mounting surface.
3. Mark the exact centre of the inner wheel.
4. Use a small drill bit to make a shallow locating indent.
5. Place the selected conversion hub into the centre indent using its alignment point.
6. Check wheel position, track width, brake clearance, and alignment before gluing.
7. Repeat careful test-fitting before final installation.

Important Builder Note

This conversion requires cutting, sanding, drilling, measuring, and accurate alignment. Removing too much material from the donor wheel may affect strength or centring. Use the standard or wide hub according to the mounting depth and track width required by the build.

Wheels, tires, brakes, axles, suspension components, donor model kit, paint, and decals are not included. Some sanding, trimming, drilling, modification, and test-fitting may be required for best results.
