Mercury LS7 DOHC V8 & Automatic Transmission Kit – 1/25 Scale

Build a distinctive high-performance V8 installation with this scratch-designed 1/25 scale Mercury Marine LS7-based engine and automatic transmission kit from MCS Design. The design combines an LS7-based foundation with twin-overhead-cam cylinder heads, creating a unique powerplant for detailed street-machine, show-car, pro-touring, custom, marine-inspired, and engine-swap projects.

The engine is divided into multiple individual components to improve painting, assembly, and detailing access throughout the build.

Compatibility

Produced in 1/25 scale for universal custom installation. Suitable for custom street machines, show cars, pro-touring builds, performance vehicles, trucks, marine-inspired projects, and custom engine swaps. This is not a direct drop-in assembly for every donor kit.

Important Fitment Information

Engine-bay dimensions and donor-kit tooling vary. Custom engine mounts, transmission crossmembers, oil-pan clearance, firewall clearance, cooling connections, exhaust fabrication, driveshaft alignment, and surrounding chassis or suspension modifications may be required.

Test-fit the complete engine, automatic transmission, accessory components, wiring routes, hose connections, oil lines, and surrounding chassis parts before painting or permanently bonding anything.

Donor model kit, engine mounts, wiring, hoses, oil lines, exhaust system, paint, decals, adhesives, and finishing materials are not included. Some sanding, trimming, drilling, modification, and test-fitting may be required for best results.
