Build a highly detailed factory-style RB30 turbo powerplant with this scratch-designed 1/24 scale engine kit from MCS Design. Inspired by the turbocharged RB30 installations found in vehicles such as the Holden VL Commodore and Nissan R31 Skyline, this multi-part kit offers sharper SOHC RB-series detailing than typical donor-kit engine components.

Its OEM-inspired configuration is ideal for tough street cars, period tuner builds, drag projects, Holden resin bodies, Nissan R31 builds, and custom engine swaps.

Produced in 1/24 scale and suitable for Holden VL Commodore, Nissan R31 Skyline, street, drag, tuner, and custom engine-swap projects. This is not a direct drop-in component for every donor kit.

Important Fitment Information

Engine-bay dimensions and donor-kit tooling vary. Custom engine mounts, transmission pairing, oil-pan clearance, cooling connections, intake routing, exhaust fabrication, driveshaft alignment, and surrounding chassis or suspension modifications may be required.

Test-fit the engine and all related components before painting or permanently bonding any parts.

Donor model kit, transmission unless shown as part of the supplied casting, engine mounts, wiring, hoses, exhaust system, paint, decals, adhesives, and finishing materials are not included. Some sanding, trimming, drilling, modification, and test-fitting may be required for best results.
