Working With Resin

Our products are 3D printed in high-resolution resin and are best suited for experienced builders. While we aim to provide crisp, detailed parts, some cleanup is expected. This may include sanding, trimming, or minor filling to achieve a smooth and accurate fit.

• Parts may arrive attached to support trees or sprues — we recommend using sprue cutters for clean removal.
• Delicate pieces may be present, so handle them with care during cleanup and assembly.
• Heat during shipping can cause minor warping — use the hot/cold water method to reshape parts as needed.
• Resin color may vary between parts and may not match photos exactly.
• Use any brand of CA glue (super glue) for best adhesion when assembling.
• Some kits may not include printed instructions. Please refer to product photos or use your best modeling judgment.

Certain kits may require to ensure optimal fit and finish — this is normal for custom model upgrades. If you have any questions or run into trouble during your build, feel free to contact us through our website. We're here to help make your build a success.

We want you to love your scale model parts, miniatures, and accessories from Model Maker’s Workshop! If something isn’t quite right, we’ll work with you to find a solution that leaves you satisfied. Below are the details of our refund and return policy.

Returns

We offer a 14-day return policy, starting from the day your order is delivered. If you decide to return an item, it must be in its original condition — that means no sanding, gluing, modifying, or painting. We love creativity, but once you’ve started customizing, we can’t accept the item back.

To begin a return, please contact us at info@modelmakersworkshop.com. Once your return is approved, we’ll send you a return shipping label and instructions on where to send your package. Please do not send anything back without first requesting a return, as it won’t be accepted.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

We take great care in packaging our prints, but if your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please inspect it right away and contact us at info@modelmakersworkshop.com. We’ll evaluate the issue and make it right.

Important Note: We cannot replace damaged parts if more than 30 days have passed since the purchase date.

Exchanges

If you need a different item, the quickest way to get it is to return your original purchase (if eligible) and place a new order separately. This ensures you get your new item as quickly as possible.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the approval status. If approved, you’ll receive a refund via your original payment method. Please note that banks and credit card companies may take some time to process the refund and reflect it in your account.
